You could say going to Jupiter is a religious experience. Described as 'beer gothic' in the Brewery trail guide, Jupiter is furnished with church pews for seating and hanging church lights.
The church decor fits nicely in the dark, brick 102-year-old building Jupiter calls home. So do the antique wooden beer boxes, brass taps and wooden stoves.
Perhaps even more exciting is the backyard beer garden: Ivy trellices, plenty of tables, and a wood patio with live music. If the weather's nice, you can't beat it.
As for the beer, there are up to 40 California brews on tap and you can ask for a taste at the bar to help you decide. Food choices include wood-oven pizzas and focaccia bread sandwiches.
Extras: T-shirts, glasses and other gifts for sale. Banquet facilities available in the upstairs room or the outside beer garden.
