Berkeley's Breweries

Open 11 a.m. to midnight daily.

Triple Rock bills itself as 'America's oldest original brewpub.' That may or may not be the case, but it's certainly Berkeley's first, and perhaps best brewpub.
With about a dozen brews always on tap, Triple Rock can satisfy your beer-craving mood, whether it's for a Stonehenge Stout or Pinnacle Pale Ale. If you're not sure what you'd like, just ask for a taste at the bar. Pub food includes a variety of nachos, sandwiches, soups and chili.
Extras: Roof-top beer garden, shuffleboard, T-shirts, logo glasses and other gifts. Bring home beer in a box. A two-gallon box with a tap costs about $15 and lasts 3-4 days. Refills are about $11.
