M.H. de Young
Set in Golden Gate Park, the de Young Museum is San Francisco's oldest public museum, dating back to the 1894 Midwinter Exposition. The de Young Museum houses American art, African art, Oceanic art, art of the Americas, and textiles. The de Young Museum is currently closed for rebuilding. The New de Young Museum will open on the same site in Golden Gate Park in the Spring of 2005.
