Del Valle Dog Run

imageThis dog run is located in Del Valle Regional Park. Here your dog can walk leashless along the trail with you. Del Valle Regional Park is over 3,997 acres of land and it includes a five mile long lake. To get there from Hwy 580 heading east, exit S. Vasco Road. Turn right onto Vasco and head south. When Vasco ends, turn right onto Tesla Rd. Then turn left onto Mines Rd. Turn right onto Del Valle Road. Follow Del Valle Rd to the park entrance. The dog run is to the right of the marina.

This is a very small dog park. At certain times, there can be many dogs here. The hours are 6am-10pm on weekdays and 9am-10pm on weekends. The park is located at Hearst Ave, just west of Martin Luther King Jr. Way. There is limited street parking.

imageThis 20 plus acre park is a dog park that is not completely fenced, but has paved paths, grass and beach access to the bay. Owners should take note that part of this park is close to the highway. It is the largest dog park in the Bay Area and includes a dog bathing place called "Mudpuppy's" which also has dog toys and treats! Other activities include bay fishing, jogging/ running trails, birdwatching, kite flying and picnicking. From I-80 (the Eastshore Freeway) in Richmond, take Central Avenue west to Point Isabel, adjacent to the U.S. Postal Service Bulk Mail Center.
