Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk
Located on a mile-long beach between Monterey and San Francisco, the 93-year-old Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is an admission-free hot spot for beach vibes and classic rides.
This seaside amusement park includes over 28 rides and two National Historic Landmarks: a classic 1911 Looff carousel and the 1924 Giant Dipper roller coaster. Or choose from heart-pounding modern rides like the Hurricane, Tsunami and Chaos. Plus, there are great rides for kids of all ages.
Don't be deterred by the rain: explore the Boardwalk's exciting indoor attractions. Enter Sector 7 for a round of laser tag. Step into the Casino Fun Center for state-of-the-art video games, pinball and more. In Neptune's Kingdom, play pool, miniature golf and games. Cruise on over to the Surf Bowl for a few games or to try Atomic Bowling.
