Lake Ilsanjo Loop
Turn-by-turn mileage log:


Mile 0.0 - Continue on Channel Drive into the park on this paved road.
Mile 1.71 - Turn right into the large dirt parking area and start up W. Richardson Trail, which appears on the right. This fireroad is a wide, well-maintained road that steadily climbs.
Mile 2.5 - The trail splits. Continue on W. Richardson Trail up the steep hill. It is only about 0.3 miles to the top.
Mile 4.4 - Warren Richardson Trail becomes singletrack.
Mile 4.7 - Live Oak Trail appears on the right. Cross the little paved section. In the winter, this area will be underwater. There is a bridge on the right you can walk your bike across.
Mile 4.78 - Cross dam.
Mile 4.97 - Canyon Trail appears on the right. This trail is more rocky then Warren Richardson Trail. The rocks are embedded into the trail and it ride is a little bumpy. This trail is mostly downhill, with some uphill at the beginning.
Mile 7.24 - After the creek (bridge), turn left onto Spring Creek Trail. It is mostly downhill.
Mile 7.75 - Turn left and go over the wooden bridge. Follow this trail down to Spring Lake Park.
Mile 8.5 - The dirt trail now becomes a paved trail. Follow this trail down by the lake. Exit the park through the main gate...it is on the right. Turn left on Violetti Road and ride down the hill.
Mile 9.0 - Turn right on Channel Drive and ride back to your parked vehicle.
Mile 9.5 - End of ride.
