North Bay Area: Lake Ilsanjo Loop
by Conan Tigard
BayInsider contributor

Lake Ilsanjo Loop Location: Sonoma County
Category: Dirt ride
Distance: 9.5 Miles
Elevation Gain/Loss: 800 ft
Difficulty: Easy
Riding Time: 1¼ - 1¾ Hours
Directions

This ride is practically all fireroads and relatively easy. This is a great loop if you are just learning to ride. The first half of the ride is climbing, but not too steeply except for one hill. About halfway through the ride, you run across the lake after a little bit of singletrack. Then it is back to the fireroads and a little more of a climb. It is practically all downhill from now on. The ride does get a little technical on the downhill because of all of the rocks, but it is not very difficult.
