This ride is the standard entry/exit route for commuters and long-distance cyclists going to and from points in Marin County. It'll get you to nearly every Marin neighborhood, and beyond.
Unless you're riding during commute hours, traffic is relatively light. The route is easy except for the one hill into Corte Madera and the return climb from Sausalito to the Bridge. If you're commuting, you may want to consider hopping on the bike-friendly ferry in Sausalito to skip the bridge and the bike-commuting nightmare of San Francisco.
