Ponti Loop Location: Marin County
Category: Dirt ride
Distance: 5.05 Miles
Elevation Gain/Loss: 1500 ft.
Difficulty: Strenuous
Riding Time: ¾ - 1¼ hours
Directions

Description: Located on Big Rock Ridge near Novato, this is an all up then all downhill ride — what is sometimes referred to as a workout ride. The climb is a grind, but the 1½ miles of downhill makes it worth it. The majority of the dirt portion of the ride follows fireroads with a short section of singletrack. The end of the ride is on pavement to complete the loop. This is a great ride if you only have an hour to spare and really wanna sweat.
