Mile 0.0 - At the ranger kiosk, follow the arrows through the parking lot. Mile 0.11 - Go straight onto the paved bike path. Mile 0.20 - Go straight and start riding on the West Shore Trail. There are a few hills to climb on this trail, but they are short. Mile 1.86 - Turn right on the dirt trail to Bass Cove Trail after crossing the Lake Chabot dam. Mile 1.89 - Cross paved path. Mile 1.92 - Trail Ts. Turn right on Bass Cove Trail. This trail climbs steadily, not too steeply, with a lot of little hills, some of which are quite steep; one is a doozy! Mile 3.38 - Turn right on the paved golf cart paved trail. Watch out for speeding golf cart flying down the hill. Mile 3.47 - Turn right on to Golden Rod Trail. Mile 4.43 - Turn right on Jackson Grade Trail at the 4-way intersection. Mile 4.83 - At the bottom of the hill, turn right on Brandon Trail, cross the bridge, and start climbing. Mile 8.07 - Cross the road and go through the parking lot go around brown gate, and start on trail to Brandon Trail. Mile 8.21 - Turn right on Towee Trail and head towards the campground. The trail name does not appear. Mile 8.48 - Turn left on Live Oak Trail. This is the steepest and most fun part of the ride. The descent is quick and rutted. Mile 9.40 - Go straight onto Cameron Loop Trail at the 4-way intersection. Mile 9.45 - Walk your bike across the really thin bridge. Mile 9.50 - Turn right on East Shore Trail. Mile 11.32 - Trail appears on the left with the parking lot in front. Turn left on the trail and ride it back to the ranger kiosk. Mile 11.39 - End of ride.
