Lake Marie Double Loop

Mile 0.0 - From the end of the parking lot, start at the trailhead, which is the singletrack (Bay Area Ridge Trail) that leads to the picnic area. You can also ride on the fireroad that leads to the picnic area.
Mile 0.08 - Ride through picnic area, turn right at the picnic tables, cut over grass in field and turn left on the dirt road. Head towards sign that says, "All trail user 5 mph".
Mile 0.22 - Turn left on paved road.
Mile 0.23 - Turn right onto Lake Marie Road, a fireroad. Start climbing about 700 in the next 2 miles.
Mile 2.35 - Lake Marie. Turn left on Marie Creek Trail and ride over the dam.
Mile 2.42 - Go right on the singletrack at the Y. This trail has the first of the log steps that you have to ride down and then try to climb.
Mile 2.50 - Turn right on Chaparral Trail. This is steeper singletrack climbing. 2 nasty switchbacks appear on this trail that are both very steep and rocky.
Mile 3.02 - Turn right on Skyline Trail. There are some rocks imbedded in this trail that you cannot see until the last minute.
Mile 3.76 - Turn right on Buckeye Trail. This trail has some climbing and also some fun downhill.
Mile 4.40 - T into road. Turn right.
Mile 4.43 - Turn left and remain on onto Buckeye Trail. This trail has a lot of logs (water diversions) and rocks that you have to fly over at high rates of speed. This is almost all downhill. This trail is fast, but watch out for rocks. There is also one really nasty corner.
Mile 6.05 - Turn right on Skyline Trail, a gravel-covered fireroad.
Mile 6.14 - Turn right on Lake Marie Road and ride back up to Lake Maria
Mile 8.07 - Lake Marie. Turn left on Marie Creek Trail and ride over the dam.
Mile 8.16 - Go right on the singletrack at the Y.
Mile 8.23 - Turn left on Marie Creek Trail.
Mile 8.30 - Go right on Marie Creek Upper. This trail has a lot more of the wooden log steps, some on the uphill, but mostly on the downhill. This trail is also more difficult then any other so far because of the rocks in the trail.
Mile 8.75 - Turn right at the T.
Mile 9.23 - Turn right on Rim Rock Trail to Manzanita Trail.
Mile 9.32 - At the Y, turn right on Manzanita Trail (not marked).
Mile 9.87 - Go right at the Y. there are some nasty little downhills on this trail with rocks.
Mile 10.02 - Turn right at the T.
Mile 10.97 - Turn right on the circular fireroad.
Mile 11.00 - Ride through parking lot to trailhead.
Mile 11.13 - End of ride.
