Description
This is a nice and easy road ride for the entire family that meanders through Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. It starts at the beach, circles a couple of lakes, goes past both the Conservatory of Flowers and the California Academy of Sciences, and travels over just about every road in this man-made urban oasis. It is a ride for all ages, is quite easy and a lot of fun. Lots of places to stop and explore here. Enjoy the beauty of the one of the world's most famous parks.

Directions
From the Golden Gate Bridge, take Merchant Road to Lincoln Blvd. Turn right on Lincoln Blvd. Drive through the Presidio. Follow the Scenic Drive signs. Turn right on Geary. Follow down to the coast. This turns into the Great Highway. Go past Fulton and park in the beach parking lot on the right across the Great Highway from the windmill.

From the parking lot at the northern end, cross the Great Highway to the road that enters the Golden Gate Park. This will be the beginning of the ride.
