Mile 0.0 - Head up John F. Kennedy Dr. toward the windmill with the blades. Mile 0.36 - Turn left and remain on John F. Kennedy Dr. Mile 0.70 - At the intersection, turn left on Chain of Lakes Dr. Ride around North Lake. Mile 1.00 - Turn left onto the One Way road before exiting the park and continue on around the lake. Mile 1.35 - Turn left on John F. Kennedy Dr. Keep your eyes peeled for the buffalo on the left. Mile 1.81 - At the stop sign, turn left and ride beside Spreckels Lake, which appears on the right. Mile 1.98 - Turn right on Spreckels Lake Dr. It is marked as "{Not a Through Street." Mile 2.32 - At the T, turn right. Mile 2.37 - Turn left on John F. Kennedy Dr. You will pass under the overpass, ride past the Rose Garden, the California Academy of Science, and the Conservatory. Mile 4.29 - Turn left on Conservatory Dr. It is a One Way road. Small climb. Mile 4.87 - Turn left on John F. Kennedy Dr. Ride past the Conservatory again. Mile 5.03 - Turn right at the stop sign on Middle Dr. East. Mile 5.13 - Turn left at the Y onto Bowling Green Dr. Mile 5.39 - Merge into Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. Mile 5.71 - At the T, turn right and ride past the Botanical Gardens. Mile 5.84 - Turn right onto Middle Dr. East. Mile 6.34 - Turn left on John F. Kennedy Dr. Ride past the Conservatory for the last time. Mile 6.76 - Turn left on Hagiwara Garden Dr. toward the California Academy of Science. Mile 6.81 - Turn left onto the one-way road and ride past the California Academy of Science. Mile 7.12 - Turn left on Hagiwara Garden Dr. in front of the Japanese Tea Garden. Mile 7.19 - At the T, turn right on Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. Mile 7.47 - Turn right on Stow Lake Dr. It is a one-way road. Mile 8.02 - At the Y, turn right towards the Chinese Pavilion. Mile 8.53 - Merge into Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. Mile 10.03 - Hang a sharp right and start climbing. Mile 10.35 - At the Y, turn left on Middle Dr., which is not a through street and ride around the white gates. Mile 11.11 - At the T, turn left on Transverse Dr. and climb a little. Mile 11.32 - Turn left on John F. Kennedy Dr. Mile 12.31 - Turn left on Chain of Lakes Dr. East. Mile 12.56 - Turn right on Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. Mile 12.75 - At the Y, go left and remain on Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. Mile 13.07 - Turn right on Lincoln Way. Mile 13.12 - Cross the Great Highway and turn right on the beach sidewalk. Mile 13.56 - Turn right and head back toward the parking lot. Mile 13.60 - End of ride.
