Gerbode Valley Loop
turn-by-turn mileage log


Mile 0.0 - Turn right (West) on the paved bike path towards Mill Valley (heading away from the bridge).
Mile 0.13 - At the Y before the little wooden bridge, turn left on the older, paved bike path.
Mile 0.42 - Turn onto the dirt bike trail and ride under the very low bridge. Duck your head under the large pipe and bridge or you will whack it. Continue riding along the waterway.
Mile 0.59 - Follow the trail sign and ride the singletrack.
Mile 0.70 - Merge with Tennessee Valley Road. There isn't much of a bike lane. There is some singletrack that parallels the road you can ride on if you want to.
Mile 2.10 - Turn left in the parking area onto the large dirt road.
Mile 2.14 - Turn left and go around the white gate onto Marincello Trail. Start climbing.
Mile 3.68 - Merge into Bobcat Trail and continue straight. Some downhill appears. There is some washboard on this trail so hang on tight.
Mile 6.61 - Turn right on Miwok Trail and start climbing again. Steeper this time, but not as long.
Mile 8.08 - Turn left on Old Springs Trail. This trail has a few little wooden bridges on it. Downhill singletrack.
Mile 9.26 - Enter the Stables area. Turn left.
Mile 9.43 - Turn right on Tennessee Valley Road. All paved downhill.
Mile 10.85 - Turn left on the Trail that parallels the waterway.
Mile 11.09 - Duck under the bridge.
Mile 11.12 - Turn left on paved bike trail.
Mile 11.42 - Turn right on main paved bike trail.
Mile 11.56 - End of ride.
