Ride Guide: Tilden Park/Wildcat Canyon
Tilden Loop turn-by-turn mileagelog
0.0 Park at Lone Oak picnic area off Central Park Drive, east of El Cerrito. Head uphill on Meadow Canyon Trail, going south to start the small loop.
1.2 Right turn on Curran Trial, going downhill.
2.0 Right on Wildcat Gorge Trail, downhill back to picnic area.
2.8 End of short loop.Head right and north on the pavement, which becomes Loop Trail. Gate at 3.0 miles. You'll see Jewel Lake on the left.
4.6 Gated entrance to Wildcat Canyon Regional Park.
5.8 Trail junction at Havey Canyon Trail, Conlon, and Rifle Range Road. Go straight. and pass Mezue Trail junction and cattle guard.
6.8 Right on Belgium Trail, heading uphill.
7.6 Y intersection. Stay to left.
7.8 Trail turns southeast and begins climbing No Way Hill.
8.8 Pretty much the top of the climb.
13.2 Inspiration Point. Turn right on Curran Trail, then right again on Meadow Canyon Trail and back to Lone Oak picnic area.
