Ride Guide: Old Haul dirt ride
Old Haul Road turn-by-turn mileage log
0.0 Start at the Old Haul Road Trailhead on Wurr Road, next to Memorial County Park. The trailhead is about .5 miles north of the Memorial Park entrance. Head towards Pescadero Road.
0.3 Turn right on Pescadero Road at the stop sign and climb Haskins Hill. This is about a two mile climb on the road.
4.3 After descending to the bottom of Haskins Hill, turn right on Alpine Road and get ready for some more climbing.
8.0 At the Pomponio Road junction and honor camp entrance stay LEFT and continue up Alpine Road.
8.4 Turn right on Portola Park Road at the stop sign and begin descending. Continue into the park and past the park headquarters and interpretive center.
11.9 Go around the gate on the "Service Area" road.
12.6 Turn right on the narrow trail just after crossing the bridge over Pescadero Creek. Continue up the steep road. At the gate, turn right on Old Haul Road.
13.9 Stay left at the Bridge Trail junction.
