by Conan Tigard, BayInsider contributor

Mt. Burdell Loop Location: Marin County
Category: Dirt ride
Distance: 8.45 Miles
Elevation Gain/Loss: 1800 ft
Difficulty: Moderate
Riding Time: 1½ - 2 Hours
Directions

This is a good ride through open lands that is sparsely covered with oak trees. Some of the climbs are rocky and a little steep, but most of them are not too bad. The view of Novato from the top of the mountain is spectacular. Then it is all downhill.
