Mile 0.0 - Turn right on the paved road heading towards the picnic area. Mile 0.20 - Turn left off the paved road on the dirt Bike Route. Little bit of climbing. Mile 0.57 - Turn left on Perimeter Road. This is a wide paved road. The road is made up of small hills and valleys. Mile 1.73 - Turn right between the builds on Fire Road. It is paved at the beginning. The climbing is a little steeper here. Always follow the signs that say Bike Route. Mile 2.09 - Fireroad to Mt. Livermore appears on left. This is the beginning of the loop. Go right on Fire Road. Keep climbing. After the road flattens out, the ride is quite pleasant for a few miles with spectacular views of the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz. Mile 3.64 - Nice resting area with Golden Gate Bridge in the background on the right. Downhill coming up. Mile 4.95 - Turn left onto the paved road. Mile 5.0 - Turn right on Fire Road. Mile 5.41 - End of the dirt loop. Turn right on Fire Road and continue with the downhill. Mile 5.77 - Turn right on Perimeter Road. Mile 6.06 - Head right between the two big buildings. These are the old hospital buildings. You can get out and walk around the first floor of both buildings. Mile 6.31 - A detour appears sending you behind the Officer's Quarters. Mile 6.35 - The detour continues to the left. This is the beginning of the big hill. Mile 6.67 - Top of hill. Mile 7.13 - Road to Battery Drew appears on the right. If you go to Battery Drew, this road merges back with Perimeter Road at Mile 7.63. Mile 8.05 - Road to Camp Reynolds appears on left. You can ride down to the camp or continue on Perimeter Road. Continue on Perimeter Road. Mile 9.17 - Turn left off of Perimeter Road onto the dirt trail back towards the ferry landing. Mile 9.53 - Turn right on paved road. Mile 9.74 - End of ride.
