San Francisco Beaches
Baker Beach | China Beach | Ocean Beach
If you're ever down about living in San Francisco, remember how fortunate you are to have three really nice beaches right at your doorstep. Getting to them is super-easy and super-fast -- just jump on MUNI and you're there (provided MUNI doesn't kill you en route).
The poor sods down in Los Angeles have to drive forty minutes (minimum) to do that.
Once you arrive, you can take your pick. Ocean Beach, though chilly, is a good surf spot. For a nice view of the bay (and protection from the wind) it's Baker.
Yeah, plenty to be thankful for. You're damn lucky you live here. And don't you forget it.
